IS Blake Lively the new Carrie Bradshaw? Rumours began last night that the Gossip Girl star will play the young Carrie in a Sex and the City prequel based on Candice Bushnell's novel The Carrie Diaries, the coming-of-age story of one of fashion's most famous characters.
Although Lively's agent could not be reached for official comment, reports thus far have been denied. According to the New York Post, SATC2 producer Michael Patrick King is considering making another film with Lively cast in the star role. If the film is a hit another instalment named Summer in the City may follow.
