Stunning

When the April edition of UK Vogue was put on my desk this week, to read/ scan for coverage I was literally blown away by how stunning Kate Winslet was looking- I am aware that the look and crop have caused some controversy but I honestly think she looks shmokin!!!!!
wut woo!

New Chanel Ad

Keira Knightley new ad for Coco Mademoiselle fragrance!
Well a teaser!

Thoughts??

The Only Way Is Essex

This show is just like marmite, you love it or you hate it, or for those of you like me- you cant help but feel a mix of emotions...like am i really going to sit here for an hour and watch the kind of stereotypical people i would normally steer clear of, however think are funny, brilliant and just i could actually now see myself being friends with.
Well after seeing this video i am even more intrigued to watch the second series- bring it on!!

I love Sorel!

As the weather gets warmer and days are longer, we look forward to letting our feet loose in sandals and flip flops, however we cannot help but shed a tear at the thought of putting away our favourite winter boots for another season…well fear not you footwear fashionistas! Sorel’s ‘Tivoli Rain’ boots are here to save us!
With the Spring Summer 2011 catwalks being jam packed with high gloss leather, bright bold colours and of course some retro influence, Sorel have embodied all these key trends whilst reworking their classic 1964 Pac boot ‘Tivoli’. The ‘Tivoli Rain’ is set to be a new leader in the generation of waterproof boots, coming in luxurious high gloss leather and available in 4 bright colours, with a polka dot lining!
So I say roll on the warmer weather and festival season as my feeties are craving a stroll in these gorgeous boots!

Burberry School

Burberry after deciding that they just couldn't find the right amount of talent in the UK have decided to introduce a new apprenticeship programme to train those (who enrol) skills such as cutting and garment making.
Great idea I think - what are your thoughts?

Rhianna Vogue cover....

Vivienne Westwood AW11

Royalty was on the mind of Vivienne Westwood when she created her Autumn 2011 collection for her Red Label. Although admitting that her latest creations had nothing to do with the upcoming royal nuptials, Westwood did reference Lewis Carroll's Red and White Queens from Alice Through the Looking Glass. Models, including Daisy Lowe, sported crowns as hats, head scarves and with hair rollers in a dishevelled makeup! - catwalkqueen.tv

I love the clothes but I do feel that the makeup slightly takes away from what is important...what are your thoughts?

David Koma AW11

This morning David Koma showed his winter collection at the BFC showspace. David Koma is one of my faveorite fast rising fashion superstars (already dressing a number of superstars from Cheryl Cole to her girl crush Rihanna - although non of them were at his show)

David Koma was this season inspired by Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, who's a big fan of polka dots. So there were polka dot prints, circular cut-outs and colourful fur pom-poms sewed onto hips, shoulders, arms and anywhere else they could fit - cocosteaparty.blogspot.com

Burberry AW11

This afternoon saw Burberry's AW11 collection hit the runway and the added bit of winter came in the form of...snow!

Kate Bosworth & Rachel Bilson took the front row...oh and of course Alexa Chung (it wouldn't be a LFW show without her :)

Mulberry

The show that everyone seems to have everyone so excited, with the 10.30 show having a celeb FROW of Yasmin Sewell, Kirsten Dunst, Olivia Palermo & Roasmund Pike, Gemma Arteton. The countryside theme detail goes all the way to toadstool cupcakes (grr I want one haha).
Everyone is talking about the fox's everywhere, the Neely bag back on the catwalk as well as dogs in mulberry coats trotting down the runway to the fantastic mr fox theme, bird prints & parkas.

Henry Holland AW11

I have always been a fan of Henry Holland, from his tights, to his whole catwalk collection. I think the main reason I like him so much is he just seems like a cool guy, I tend to spot him walking the streets of our fair London town on a weekly basis - and that just makes me feel like he is an easy going chilled out kinda guy. AND obviously his clothes are wiki wiki wicked!

After this weeks show everyone seems to be talking about...girls with pearls, tartan & tweed, bingo couture jumpsuits and neon nails! Nicola Roberts & ALexa Chung (front row showbies) Sounds fabuloustantastic!

Fashion Toast...

Is one of my faveorite blogs so I am happy to hear that Rumi won Blogger of the year @ the bloglovin' awards!

Paper Crown

Paper Crown is the new collection from Lauren Conrad, to be honest I have heard mixed reviews, and whilst the negative ones maybe slightly exaggerated I do also believe that it is perhaps taking simplicity to the point of boredom.

She does offer easily wearable pieces that are bang on trend and there are a few items that I like, such as the leather shorts and nude shirts however I feel that as a 'whole collection' it is slightly limited.

What are your thoughts?

Jaeger AW11

I Miss...

Seating plans, its like planning your super sweet 16 and putting together a hierarchy of people you know, don't know, those you want to know, and well those you don't want to know are not coming!
It is one of the hardest things I reckon when it comes to a show but also one of the most exciting!

Louise Grey AW11

Well there is nothing grey about this collection, what a lovely spurt of colour in total contrast to a brand such as G-Star!
Definately something to brighten up those summer months, I am not sure if the polka dot make up will catch on though.
